The death of musician, Peter Bearon, just days before the event, cast a dark
shadow over this year's Abram Day.
Numbers were low for dancers, but a gathering took place at The Morris Dancers
Ground in memory of Peter.
Local dancer Brian Dean was also remembered who died young during the last year.

Flowers left on the position where the Maypole would have stood
Post event only the flowers remain
It is not sure whether the Abram Day will continue in the
immediate future due to lack of dancers and an organiser.
Like many local traditional events, they only continue with an organiser and
local support.
